Born in Georgetown, SC to the proud parents Newton and Johnnie Pressley. Raised in Nesmith, SC attending the public school system of Williamsburg County. Graduated from Hemingway High School and attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Received a BS in Chemistry with a minor in military science, MA in Educational Administration with an area of interest in higher education, and a EdS in Educational Administration with a cognate in curriculum and instruction.
Taught chemistry, physics, AP chemistry and pre-engineering at Keenan High School in Richland School District One. Worked as Dean of Academics and Assistant Principal at Keenan High School and Lower Richland High School in Richland School District One.
Married to Kimberly Pressley with two children. A 9-year old son Daniel and a 3-year old daughter Kendall.
